The Howrah Bridge, short paragraph in simple words

     The Howrah Bridge   The Howrah Bridge on the river Hooghly is an example of modern engineering marvel . It is in fact a cantilever span bridge .  It is built on supports on both sides of and cantilevers spread out from those supports and are connected together in between.  Since there is no support in between the river, it does not get affected in respect of transportation . It has arms of different lengths.  One arm is 564 ft. long. Each of the two cantilever arms is 468 ft . long and each of the anchor arms is 325 ft. long . t was constructed with 27000 tons of tensile steel. The cost of the construction was Rs. 32 Lacs. The total length of the bridge is 2,150 ft.   It took 6 years to completed the construction . It is known as the fourth largest bridge in the world .  It was opened for public on 28th February , in the year 1943 . The Howrah Bridge is used to link Howrah ( and other parts of the country ) with Kolkata ....

Our School, Very Short Paragraph

                        Our School 

I know my school better than any other school. The name of my school is Kendriya Vidyalaya Balurghat. It is located at Balurghat in Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal.  

The specifications of our school are - 

There are about one thousand five hundred students in our school. There are forty-five teachers to teach us. Our school consists of twenty classrooms. There are about one hundred students in each class. 


The facilities of our school - 

The sanitation and water supply system is adequate and hygiene is maintained strictly in respect of those systems. Other facilities are also provided to the the students. 

Sports attract the students much. There is a big playground for us to play different types of games and sports. There is a library equipped with the most of the necessary books.

Caring of the students in our school - 

Students are also encouraged to take part in exhibitions, quiz shows and debating. The teachers are try to take proper care of all the students. 

So, the students are like them very much. I also like our school and must try to get educated properly.
